50 Challenges – No. 1: Jam Jar Army

To start the new Blogging Year, the first in a series of weekly challenges to make your life a little different this year. They are not necessarily career related.

The phrase “Jam Jar Army” comes from the recent book by Judith O’Reilly, and you will need one clean jam jar (a coffee jar will do). Use it to collect all the “shrapnel” from your change, and at the end of the year donate it to the charity of your choice. It is unlikely to be a huge sum, until it is combined with donations from other people.

If you do not already have a charity in mind, please consider Future Hope, helping the street children of Calcutta.

Our sister firm, Iwan Thomas Associates, will be running a similar series of business based challenges throughout 2013.
