It is a month since the last challenge – shocking. A holiday in the middle is no excuse. Sorry.
Challenge No. 9 was to make bread. This is to make spelt bread, as I did over the weekend. Spelt is an ancient grain, which is not wheat. Do your own research on whether it is suitable for those with a wheat intolerance. Spelt flour is sold in many supermarkets (as is spelt bread – but not up to this standard).
The recipe for 3 minute spelt bread (no kneading or letting it rise) is here. The crust is something else – very crispy.
